Steemit Is Almost A Top 5,000 Site Worldwide! Traffic Is Still Exploding!

In just a week we're up over 1,000 spots in the worldwide ranking - about to break into the top 5,000.
In the US, Steemit is up more than 300 places, which puts us in the top 1,500!

- South Korea (Rank 832, up from 995)
South Korea remains the only country on the top 1,000 list, but if these trends keep up, a lot of other countries will be added soon!
Top 1,500 Countries:
- UK (Rank 1174, up from 1491)
- Pakistan (Rank 1229, up from 1683)
- Austrailia (Rank 1434, up from 1806)
- Belgium (Rank 1476, up from 1957)
- US (Rank 1496, up from 1820)
Netherlands and Poland should be added to this list very soon.

The growth doesn't seem to show any signs of slowing down. Week after week we're seeing huge improvements. It will be interesting to see where the next few months takes us!
That was fast, from 6,300 to 5,200 in just one week. That's awesome.
Now 5 days later it's already at 4,600!
Im hoping it slows down, at least a bit, the website is being spammed by people asking for money in the "new" section and people putting up posts of them taking photos of flowers next to their house
The new section has always had a lot of garbage posts, and the higher the price of STEEM, the more garbage we see. I think that once communities are enacted (similar to Reddit's subreddits), it will go a long way in cleaning up the trash. I think moderators and users of the various communities will be vigilant in keeping spam out of the places on the site where they hang out.
This is super old.. but yes. We really need individual subreddit type communities. Navigation on the site is still a little difficult and disparate.

I think a more practical way of redistributing unfairly high rewards would help. I don't have a suggestion though. The current situation is, if you use a flag, there's a good chance you will see retaliation. There is sort of an unspoken "positivity only" social contract with some in these parts. The last flag I placed was on a "First!" poster who didn't read the post, and it was overruled by a larger user and he was then over-compensated several Steem worth as a result.
I recommend new users or minnows avoid authors and tags that might result in them wanting to flag or make negative comments.
I was tracking this early last month but fell behind. Also, @me-tarzan is tracking it with better charts than I was.
Having said that, my early month data shows a similar growth rate:
It is steadily moving up with no signs of slowing down. In fairness, all crypto website are increasing in the ranks, but Steemit is growing the fastest.
Guesses on where it will be at the end of the year? I'd love to see top 1K.
If the STEEM price stays somewhere around where it's at right now, I think we'll easily be top 1,000 by the end of the year.
Rank in the US top 1500. Its rising! That's really cool
Just 5 days later and the US rank is now 1,317. As you get a higher rank, the difficulty of moving up increases, so that kind of growth is pretty impressive!

It's crazy! I'm wondering when/if it will slow down.
The user base is growing rapidly while the price of Steem is stagnant. That seems like an opportunity to buy. Unless the price rose way too much during the first half of June.
Yeah, I'm pretty torn between those two points. I'll certainly be looking for entry points if the price falls.
This is no surprise. Everyone dreams of earning money whilst walking the streets, travelling, eating dinner and even whilst in the bath. It is truly amazing.
I think a Steemit income is beginning to look like a very viable option for someone who wants to live in a country with a low cost of living. Spend a few hours a day blogging and you might have more than enough to get by.
That's a really nice work, it just a matter of time because the world will be soon realize how excited it is to contribute in something that empower others, I will definitely resteemit

If the STEEM price stays where it's at, I think we'll continue to see tremendous growth. A lot of social media influencers are joining and sharing Steemit with their social media following elsewhere. A higher price would most likely mean even faster growth.
