I've seen first-hand the toxic environment that ensues when a person in a leadership position not only doesn't take responsibility for his own actions but lies in order to blame others. Not pretty. Well written piece.
That's the worst leader a company or organization can have. No organization can succeed much less continue to exist with people who are toxic not only to the organization but to those who are in business dealings with it. Accountability is one characteristics a good leader possesses. With it, he/she protects the interests of the people he/she works for and works with and the entire organization.
