My First Two Purchases With Money Earned on Steemit!
I received my first actual cash today from money that I have earned by posting on Steemit, and I decided to actually treat myself. I very rarely buy myself anything and this seemed like a perfect chance to do so.
One of my main loves in life is music, and I haven't had a decent sound system to play my Spotify and Google Play Music on, so I bought myself the Bose Soundlink Revolve Bluetooth Speaker.
This speaker only stands 6 inches tall, but it packs a big punch when it comes to sound quality. Immersive 360 degree sound makes it ideal for placing in the centre of a room and letting the sound fill the entire area. It is also waterproof which makes it a great little speaker to bring outside into the yard and not worry if it gets a little bit of rain on it.
The speaker connects via Bluetooth is seconds and is ready to play music from the paired device. It even comes with built-in speakerphone capabilities so that if you are streaming music from your phone and a call comes in, you can take the call on the speaker.
And what is sitting back and listening to some great music without a drink to enjoy? I also decided to spend a little bit of money and make it a truly perfect pairing.
My favourite whiskey and some great music, all thanks to the people that have followed, upvoted, and commented on my Steemit posts. The great thing is that there is much more where that came from. Thank you all!

Nice! I'm hoping to use my "play money" to drop some debt that we've built up since I stopped working full time. I think that the Steemit platform has the potential to enrich all of our lives, whether the goal is to just have some fun money, or create a hard line of income. Exciting times!
It is very exciting Jenn. Like you said, there are many ways you can go about it. Paying off debt, a bit of spending money, or going all out and becoming an investor, day-trader or whatever and trying to make it big! I'm somewhere in between. :)
