RE: Steemit Anarcho Capitalism: Killing The Ignorant - Very Short, Very Readable - 1 min #steemit - #anarchism

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

This post tore me up inside. On one hand I love anarchic approaches to all things Government, on the other hand I hate Capitalist hoarding and inequality of wealth. I think that a socialist medium is what's needed here.

Imagine if Karl Marx had a blockchain...

Sort:

The inequality of wealth by itself is not the problem. Not everyone can have the same income, or even needs to for a society to flourish. As long as even the "poorest" are rich enough to have more than they need, everything is okay.

The "hoarding" is a rational reaction to the system's incentives (interest on interest / inflation).

I don't see capitalism (in the sense of free markets, or as Adam Smith proposed it) as the problem so much. And I am all for anarchy. I am not an anarcho-capitalist, though.

From what I have learned, it is all about who issues the money/currency, and how and what kind of currency. Then all authoritarian measures - like artificial redsistribution by the means of unreasonable tax laws - need not be taken.

Imagine if Karl Marx had a blockchain...

He would have skipped communism and socialism and called it the end of history :)

Again, lets replace the system entirely with the Blockchain as our overload and live happily ever after.

I have started this series and I am looking forward to how this discussion will develop.

How must that blockchain be designed? That is the question.

now govts are interested in blockchain to track welfare spending in England and the US is going to be right behind them

For our benefit, I'm sure. /s

Lets replace them entirely with the Blockchain as our overload. Fair and Equal decentralized distribution for all!
