Some Info For New Users

Steemit is an excellent platform for persons to share, learn and meet new individuals. Steemit also rewards its users for posting and upvoting other person posts.

I am a new member here on steemit, and I would like to highlight some things I believe can help a new user.

It is a good practice to write at least one blog post or comment daily.

It is also a good practice to upvote content that you like or have interests

Writing posts, commenting daily on a regular basis, will reduce your steem bandwidth which can prevent you from writing a post if it is low.

Upvoting a post or comment will also reduce your voting power, so you need to keep an eye on your available power. One thing to remember is that you will regenerate about 20 percent of your voting power within a 24-hour span, so be wise in your voting.

Two websites that you want to use are
https://www.steemstats.com/ and https://steemit.com/.

Use your username in the fields provided for an overall view of your account.

These websites give you live updates on your voting power, bandwidth, reputation, the amount of days you are a member of steemit, and all activities on your accounts such as votes you received, upvotes you made, the post created, comments and replies made on your account.

Another site that you will want to visit is the steemit chat at https://steemit.chat/home. This where you talk to other members of the steemit community.
