Steemwhale recipe: I wish i knew from the start...

The most important question to ask on the job is not " what am i getting "? The most important question to ask is "what am i becoming? "

When i joined steemit few months ago i felt it was just about posting a few pictures or video clips, giving a tag and your friends would begin to like and comment on as the case is on facebook and other social media platforms.

The irony was the case here especially as it is built on the blockchain interface i had to learn the business of the game as that was predicative if one was gonna succeed to the top: originality in creativity is the password.
Creativity they say is not really in inventing something new, sometimes its about giving your clients exactly what they want and how they want it... Branding and better content delivery is key.

DO NOT BLEND IN

If you live in Nigeria this may resonant with you: people often "see" the Glo network as been very slow. I have been using it for 3yrs plus now and the benefit is cool...even up still this moment.

The truth is, no matter what the general opinion about a thing or person is, if it works for you, you don't discard that just to flow with the criticisms against it.

I have observed with keen interest of the post style and content of several persons who are doing well on this platform and have noticed each and everyone of them have their uniqueness.

Am not saying you should post exactly like them but of course it is true that standing on their shoulders you can walk tall:
Sort out for what is outstanding about their content and see how you can use it creatively in your own uniqueness as well.

You sure should have your own secret content curating recipe.

LEARN FROM YOUR DEFEATS

A chinese proverbs says "we learn little from victory, much from defeats".

Sometimes you need "bad things" to happen to inspire you to change and grow.

At first i was a bit angry and wanted to throw in the tower when i was not getting the reward i expectation from my curations, but at the dawn of the day i realised maybe there was sometime i was not doing well.
The tide of change beckoned on and i had to upgrade my content and fail forward.

That you failed to get $10-50 in your previous post does not mean that you lost, it only means that you need more time to be able to win.

INVEST IN YOURSELF
The quotes of this great man resonated with me when i wasnt getting the desired result.

In the end some may judge you anyway, so dont live your life impressing others, live your life impressing yourself.

Work hard on becoming a better person
Invest in yourself in knowledge and wisdom.

Curate in your own unique style and interact with the system with the zeal to learn from others as well.
And in no distant time the you would have become a better and improved person and rich in steem, steem dollars and steempower as well.
