WHY I WOULD NEVER LET GO OF STEEMIT

I am confident that steemit will be the next most popular platform in the years to come. I have been trying to tell my friends about steemit but few of them seem to trust the idea. This is not unusual, i remember the when the .com era began or when  Facebook was introduced to the world, very few people trusted Facebook, most of the world was negative about Facebook. Look at it now, who does not have a Facebook account?? Facebook is at over 1 billion users and i believe that steemit will get there in some few years to come.

Things I Love about Steemit

1. Its Open-Source nature
   
   The fact that steemit is open-source and anyone can contribute to the technical advancement of the platform.
   As a developer, this is my coolest feature. You can also build applications on top of the steemit blockchain free of charge.All you need is a computer and your coding skills. Unlike other social media platforms such Facebook and Twitter where if you are ever found accessing their database without a license could land you in prison, accessing the steemit/steem blockchain is fully authorised. You just need some few tools like setting up a node to get you going.
   
   
2. Encourages People to create content
   
   
   
   Steemit encourages people to create original content. It has a very efficient system for detecting plagiarism. This enables people to benefit from their own creativity, encourages more creators and authors to publish their work without the fear that their content might be copied from one end point to another on the network.
   
   
   
3. Rewards
   
   
   
   This is a very cool feature. You get paid for what you contribute to Steemit. As we all know that Time is Money and Money is Time, how you spend your time on social media really matters. Most of us share content on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter for many hours but in the end result the companies make billions of dollars out of your content and you don't get even a share of their earnings. Why not share your content on steemit platform where you get rewarded for it?? I choose steemit over any other social media platform
   
   
4. Well Organised
   Steemit is well organised into sections and topics, I don't have to go through every content that has been posted at a particular time, i just have to go to the topic of my interest e.g crypto-news and just read the content there without even knowing what has been posted on other topics. This helps one concentrate on your interest without your attention being diverted.
