Emergence - A Part Of Something Greater - MinnowSupport
Hello Steemit!
Minnow support is a project initiated by @aggroed and is backed up by people like @canadian-coconut, @theprophet0, @ausbitbank, @teamsteem, @neoxian, @someguy123 and many other members and groups at the PAL discord server such as #teamaustralia, #teamgb, @centerlink and more. We are now almost at 2000 (1893 registered members) whales-in-training, with 250+ online at this moment, and this project was the trigger/inspiration for me to write up this post.
Emergence is the process of becoming visible after being concealed or the process of coming into existence or prominence.
Or in this particular example, Emergence is a phenomenon whereby larger entities arise through interactions among smaller or simpler entities such that the larger entities exhibit properties the smaller/simpler entities do not exhibit.
Aka real ability to enact change on a grand scale, exactly like the effect crypto-currencies such as Bitcoin, Etherium and Steem have had on the world.
By joining the team over at MSP you are becoming part of something Greater, a turning cog in a system designed to support and uplift your creative efforts, help guide you through the turbulent waters and into a calmer pond where you can grow and come into your own as a valuable Steem-It creator/curator.
When I first joined here I was a little overwhelmed, unsure of what to do, where to go, what is this Delegation/Resteem/Upvote stuff and how does it effect me. I had motivation but no lubrication, it was a bit off putting to say the least.
With a few discussions on discord and some patience from the other members I can say that my understanding of this platform has increased to the point where I feel much more capable and confident utilizing it, and I can see now how this can benefit All of US.
By working as a team you can achieve so much more, it is literally a force multiplier, a tool that you can use to leverage your own power alongside many other like-minded individuals.
The minnow becomes the whale.
Emergence.
Come and step forth from the shadows at MSP, lets make a splash together!

I joined PAL MSP discord channel last week and the people there have been really helpful. Minnow becomes Whale. Its a big benefit to steemians. Resteemed!

First have to say I love your footer logo, being a Pieces and all... On a more serious note absolutely agree I'm very new here and still trying to figure out how things work and appreciate the patience and support of those who've been here a while until I get it together (hopefully this year!) Just trying to get a grip on the Discord thing tonight for the first time. Yikes!

I actually had it made for me by @discordiant, he is rather talented with the pen and my graphic design skills is stickfigure level so much appreciation there. (you can find him on steemit or on PAL discord).
I wanted it to show balance and minnow fishies so that worked out nicely.

Do I use the minnowsupport tag to get help from MSPs? or is that for posts related to MSP?
Both.
I definitely agree with this message.
Steemit is still in its infancy. We who have been fortunate enough to find it within that time will become its gatekeepers and its power users, and with that (for those of us that choose to stick around) will come a degree of responsibility for us to maintain the sites integrity.
Curation and support guilds like MSP will continue to be created and grow. It's getting involved in this community, building connections, and contributing real, genuine value, that will ultimately bring you success and respect.
Now is the time to get in and join, the opportunity to build a presence and grow will never be greater than it is right now.
