Metro Rail: The Unstoppable Bangladesh
Hey steemians! How are you? Today I'm going to talk about the one of the biggest project of my country Bangladesh, and the project is "Metro Rail".
Dhaka Metro Rail is a dream project of the current government. Like the Padma Bridge, it is a mega project. The total length of this vital project is 20 kilometres. It will move from Uttara to Motijheel. It has 16 stations, such as Mirpur, Shahbag etc. The total cost of this project is 20,000 crore taka. It is a landmark initiative taken by the current government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The work of this project started on June 2016. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated this project.
Sixty thousand travellers can easily move from one place to another every day. It will be a safe and convenient journey. It is eco-friendly because it runs on electricity. It will not pollute the environment.
