Hehe Your account sure does not look like someone who does not make money on steemit :P
Also i have noticed people who have little SP tend to give to new users. i give atleast one or two every day in the introduce yourself segment. but its the ones with the serious money who don't share. I am not really surprised. Thats just how it is in real life. Why would Steemit be any different. Steemit too is part of society and thus will reflect the values that society at large promotes....

The money that is shown is what she has bought from bid-bots. That's what she means when she wrote "Recently I discovered the voting bots and guess what? Now I'm losing money paying them to make sure you guys get to read what I write, because hey, I believe in myself!"
You pay with your own money for bots to upvote you, like that you get on the trending page and you get seen. But, you pay for it.
