All My Friends are Unable to Register on Steemit ?

I managed to get a lot of my friends and clients interested in this platform. But it seems no one is able to go past the SMS confirmation Stage.

A lot of my advertising friends and clients wanna take a Serious look at Steemit !

Can anyone throw some light ? also when is this thing going to be fixed.
