Hey @asif4745. You have touched on an important subject. I believe that discussions that come after the post are very important. They are the things that make platforms social.
For me, the best rule for commenting is NEVER do it for the money. I comment when I feel the urge to do so.
Of course, I do still upvote my own comments because I think they are good and because I want them to be visible.

pocketsend:100@sadekj, indeed, commenting just to elicit upvotes tends to lead to shallow and uninteresting comments. But good commenting is hard. People do not have it take that much time for a good conversation. One really needs to get into the right mind set before starting the exercise of commenting.
