Many blog posts that you read have an attractive layout. A layout that makes reading such a blog post more attractive. They look well-organized, are easy to read and have different paragraphs with different font sizes.

It may have been a threshold to start blogging. Then when you create a blog your text looks boring. It is then worthwhile to read this post. After reading you can make your text a lot nicer to read.

I will try to explain what basic code you can use to make your post more readable.

Markdown

What is Markdown? It is a simple language to format your text. There are only a few possibilities available to make your text beautiful. This makes it clear.

I will show you a number of options below.

The examples

The examples are a very basic list of a lot more options. But for the purpose of keeping things easy I just listed the most commonly used ones.

• Creating headers
• Making bold text
• Making Italic text
• Quoting text

First of all a paragraph, this is an easy one. By tapping 2x a return the next paragraph is started.

Headers

To create headings, tap a hash and a space in front of the header:

Bold and italic text

For Italic text place 1 asterix * in front of the word or sentence and one after.

For bold text you place two asterix’s ** in front of the word or sentence and two after.

Quoting text

You can quote text with a >
