THE AMERICAN WAS SENTENCED TO TWO YEARS FOR A VIRTUAL PURSUIT

23-year-old student from Florida Cassandra Cruz got 22 months in prison for the virtual harassment of women on social networks. She also threatened to tell about her past filming of adult films to her family and colleagues at work.

The Ministry of justice said that in June 2015, crews found the woman under the initials "S. B." on a porn site, found out her real name and sent a request for friend at Facebook and Instagram. To this end, she created a fake account marine Giovanni.

Until September everything was fine, but then the woman discovered that Giovanni also laykaet records of all her friends. She thought this behavior strange. And she locked it. In the court documents noted that after this Cruz started to threaten S. B. to tell friends and colleagues about her past work in the porn industry. 

The girl promised to come to her work and to call my parents. In the emails and messages she was required to pay $100 thousand for silence. The investigation was immediately able to calculate the Cruz, because she used the same phone number and e-mail address that was specified in the College where he studied criminal law.

Later the amount dropped to $10 thousand, and the demand sent by registered mail. For that Cruz had to come to the post office where it was recorded by a surveillance camera. The woman also received several threats of violence, which was not always grammatically correct. 

In the period from the beginning of 2016 until April there were about 900 calls and messages from girls. "S. B. worried about his safety and worried about friends and family", — said in the documents. In addition to 22 months in prison, Cruz also waiting for 3 years of restriction of liberty damages in the amount of $2,178.32 and a $100 special tax levy.
