IN THE SWISS ALPS, THE CAT SHOWS THE WAY LOST TOURISTS

Local cat lives in the village of Gimmelwald and saved more than a tourist.

A tourist from Hungary told the story of his journey to the Swiss Alps in 2013. While walking in the mountains he had sprained his ankle. It was the end of ski season and the lifts were not working.

He didn't exactly know the way back to the hotel and decided to relax a bit, eat and to consult the map. But suddenly in the middle of a snow saw black-and-white cat. The animal noticed him. The cat started to go back, but always looked back.

The man interpreted this as a sign and followed the cat. And he brought him to the valley, where you can easily reach the hotel. A Reddit user also posted a photo with the caption: "the cat who helped me find my way when I was lost near Gimmelwald". 

Other users noted in the comments that also saw the cat. "He lives with the owners of the Mountain Hostel Petra and Walt," wrote one user. Some have speculated that his name is Tobias.
