Steemit Rule: No Dickheads

The most successful rugby team in history, New Zealand, has a rule and that is “No dickheads”. This immediately made me think of Steemit. Steemit is a self regulated ecosystem which follows a similar philosophy. By posting rubbish, spamming, inappropriate or just simply useless content you won’t be rewarded and hopefully worked out of the system entirely. Then left behind will be all the non-dickheads posting great content and helping each other out.

It’s such a simply rule and yet its at the heart of the most successful rugby team this world has ever seen. A high performance team would also work the dickheads out of the system automatically. A team game can be a lonely place if no one wants to talk to you.

There are a lot of dickheads in other social media forums available today. These people abuse those sites for their own benefit at the expense of others. This is a very difficult, if not impossible, thing to do in the Steemit environment.

No one likes a dickhead, not the New Zealand rugby team and not Steemit. If you want long lasting success in life then don’t be a dickhead.
