No Viewer Count on Steemit???
I have been trying to work out what changes if any, I should make to my posts...
Normally I would check the Viewer count and make adjustments, sometimes in the way things are written or other...
So I have NO IDEA how my posts are doing on Steemit and I dont understand why this most basic of features is not available, even though I did read that it was a feature at some point...
Upvotes are not an indication of how a post is behaving... only that someone took the time to cast a vote... if I knew I was getting 100's of views and only a few upvotes, I would work at improving that ratio... but steemit wont let me
Does anything I have just mentioned make any sense... or am I so old now, that features I used to rely on are now "old hat" and not needed anymore...
Yes it makes sense.
It was a button once upon a time there I read...but the didn't want it anymore. I think because a post was watched a lot and not voted a lot, so they delete it to keep users motivated...blabla...what do I know why...
Therefore the downvote.button is there. For shitpost or whatever. Normally no one really use this. Only when its really fucked up (racism or something like that I think)
So, its good for post here to look for good content for example.
Most people make an introduceyourself to tell who they are.
Or have special topics like art, programming, gaming, health....whatever.
Than you can use max. 5 hashtags like art music blog life whatever.
If you use the app discord you can chat with other users here and get great feedback for example...hope I could help...
