Are Content Creation and Content Curation Equally Valuable?
Not sure why this topic popped into my head but it got me thinking. Is content creation and content curation equally valuable? Should they be rewarded equally?
I suppose you could argue both are forms of content creation, but for the safe of this argument we'll say they are seperate things.
FYI for anyone who's not aware, content creation is actually creating your own unique content, contention curation is compiling either your own or other people's content.
I suppose an example would be a content creator writes a poem where as a curator makes a post about the "Top 10 Poems About Love".
Both of these things have value but does the person who is actually writing the poem, is their content any more valuable than the person who's putting together a collection of poems which speak to a particular topic or audience?
I'm not sure how I feel about this, curious to hear your thoughts?
