#Poll:49 Do you think HF20 will be Make Steemit More or Less Profitable?

if its this : https://steemit.com/steem/@steemitblog/steem-velocity-hardfork-hardfork-20

it sounds like a whole lot of words that won't change much except, if i understand correctly the vote value for everyone goes down (like a totally negligible bit) and account creation gets a lot more complicated under the hood, so people wont need to get 400 phone numbers anymore in order to get 400 accounts , im not quite sure i get the system but i think you LOSE the fee when you create one yourself and you dont need to delegate the extra anymore ?

like when i create an account with steempy it no auto-delegates 10sp from the creating account and i assume that would change ? doesnt really matter i will not need more or less accounts than i did.
Something about curation windows in the first 30 minutes to fight bots ?
dont really get that either since a piece of code with a timer can just as easy say 15 as 30 but im probably missing something unless its some kind of desperate hold-on to the holy crusade against self-voting which would make it the cheetah section i suppose

i dont really see much that will make much differene for me unless i'm missing something

this curation reward thing, the curation rewards section on steemnow really shows me what i get for that and i dont think that will make much difference wether its 10% of that or 110% of that, i will see when it happens i doubt i'll feel an impact there
account mining isnt implemented

a lot of witness related shti i wont bother to read as im not gonna be a witness here

less delegation cooldown that will be nice as i shift around a lot :)

other than that i think this is something people who nitpick the numbers get to worry about but i dont see how this will have much actual impact if you're not a minmaxer or the type to sit around for two hours waiting for the perfect window to get 0.01 extra from a bidbot vote.

but i dont think i really get all of it in-depth, and i will see when it happens, and if need be adapt, im glad it doesnt enact the new all hail the community overlords system yet because THAT would be seriously detrimental and centralize into powerful "great leaders" and walled off communities which would be partially because i think being able to BLOCK someone on a personal level is good, but when it comes down to a few central great leaders who rule their communities i doubt that will be going well

delegation cooldown update seems nice, the rest seems negligible but i'll see it when it happens :)

at least i read it for the first time today HAHAH

and NOW , what im really worried about is sending a fee to @estabond and not receiving a vote - refund or reply within 24 hours ... running a bidbot and not even having a discord or contact , tsk ....

not very confidence inspiring

what's this pocket thing ? is that spambot or something you're trying ?

oh as for the future account mining ... the original LTC system was assumed to benefit people who were still "cpu-mining" lol ... i'm not sure how that translates to 2018 because from all i know mining farms are mining ltc just as well as btc these days so anyone with one of those what was that
asic miners or advanced would be able to mine plenty of accounts as opposed to someone with four pc's with an i7 each as opposed to someone who just has a smart phone , which atm in most parts of the world is actually the case sooooooooo .... unless you get a maximum number a day or pro capita (which will come down to per account and benefit people with 400 accounts i suppose ... assume, because i dont know how they wanna rock that boat)

i do know one thing, there is NO system in this world that can not be exploited :), its inherent to a system as a system has a strict rulesets, complex-adaptive systems are harder to exploit but still

i tend not to pay too much heed to these things because most of it will be hype by marketeers trying to get those hundreds of dollars posts while the getting is good and the rest comes down to what happens after deployment and the first bugs start showing through exploits lol, isnt it always like that

we'll see in october :)

suddenly the radio starts something about understanding systems and i feel watched again ... i suppose the glass will be both half empty and half full until someone tries to drink it

understanding systems : shit happens ... the more patches the more tight it gets :) one of the few things that make sense there , the more complex a system is and the longer it operates the more likely it gets to undergo a system failure ... or something like that

i was wondering but its here , Josh Kaufmann

ah, final edit (you know me, right) i don't presume to be lol or have a personal mba, its just bits and pieces that stick here and there between the dishes and the bugs but i assume once it sticks its there
