Featured Posts - My Most Wanted Steemit Feature
Something I really miss and would like to have in the future are the so called featured/pinned posts. Unfortunately after the first 24 hours after a post has been published it gets lost and forgotten in the huge pile of posts on the blockhain.
There are various reasons why one would like to have such a feature. This could be your introduction that got lost after 500 new posts. A featured tab is a great way to promote your best posts and stories, make campaigns, sell goods and services, advertise your business, support other people's causes, promote art, music and events, charities, engage in social campaigns and countless other reasons to have posts with a longer lifespan. I'm not a developer and can't go into technical details how this could be done. I'm just sharing my thoughts on this subject. I would like to hear you opinions.
Do you see any downside to having a Featured tab?
it is indeed useful feature. I think, if user allowed to resteem their own post multiple times that would also serve the purpose to allow more followers to see it, but it is not 100% solution though.
I'd like to see the topics/tags they've used. Click on a tag to see a list of every post which has used it.
