No, you must not use it.
The intrinsec value of Steemit is his utility as a platform for submittting high quality posts. This initiatives only promotes spam and the use of Steem Power as a commodity, not as content moderation.
If this intitiatives continue to rise, the Steem price will sink.
every project or organization must give some candy a lot of it in the beginning but when it reaches a certain value and recognition it began to but a restrict roles and so on so do not be afraid it is the way it must go.
But this is the worst way of doing that. Instead of motivate for making and upvoting quality posts, this promotes just spam content and use all the bots for max profit.
all my respect for your point of view you are right in a wa7y but if you ask the people you know how easy do you see steemit in daily use,
and i had this answer not so easy and glitchy from mobile (esteem)
as most people use mobile or tablets now a day and on top of that this service just for the newcomers it will not benefit a dolphin or a whale.
