I disagree on this. technology is a tool - could be used for benefit or destruction. the difference is in consciousness. the problem - as you partially address - limited-dimensional thinking.
tricky situation, however, as most humans aren't evolved for effective multi-dimensional thinking. tech has accelerated overwhelming with info, and humans haven't been able to keep up. paradoxically, innovative tech expanding human senses & abilities might be the only way we can evolve to keep up with the acceleration, to push our capabilities to the degree of multi-dimensionality required to adapt to the change unfolding...
My point is the more we have things done for us the less we are having to think for ourselves. Also you say 'most humans arn't evolved for effective multi-dimensional thinking', this is exactly my point multidimensional thinking is not something we have been taught but that does not mean it is something we are incapable of. There is much of the mind we still do not understand. I Believe it is something that can be taught to oneself, learning new skills is one way of achieving this.
