I Will Be Starting Weekly DSI ( Dolphin Support Initiative) and it will be Extremely Exciting for my Fellow Steemians :)
As some of you know when I became a Dolphin a couple of weeks ago, I wanted to commit myself in taking my Steemit Stake and really use it to the benefit of our Wonderful Community here.
And just really try to help out people and encourage and inspire them to produce more and more high quality Content
So up until now I would just randomly picks blog posts in my Feed that I thought really moved me and touched me and inspired me and then I would proceed to give them a full powered upvote. As well as giving full powered upvotes to contributors who came on the blog post and provided substantial Comments that truly added to the Discussion.
So Now this is What I Will Be Doing with Weekly DSI ....
Iam taking it one step farther. On Mondays I will start choosing a Steemian's blog post that I think is a high quality post that aligns with the values of our Community we have here at Steemit. It does not necessarily have to be a Post about helping people or donating money or anything like that ( Of course it can be). But just good Content that engages our Community in a deep and enriching way.
I will Start Tomorrow...
When I find that Post on each Monday ...well for the rest of the week I will follow that Steemian Author and give Full Upvotes to the rest of his original posts he creates Monday through that Friday. Of course ALL his Posts that week MUST be of quality like the original one I picked on Monday.
And please folks do not write a great Post and be chosen as a DSI recipient and then the next day post a silly meme about taking Steem and buying a Lambo or something like that.
That won't cut it.
If you are chosen as a DSI recepeint ...well for the rest of the week you should try to commit yourself and strive to write good content.
And consequently, I will continue to give you full powered votes as well as the Commentators who leave high quality replies.
Conclusion....
Anyway, Iam excited about this ,and I think you should be as well :)
Basically , I am dead set in just trying to encourage people to strive to produce excellent Content here on Steemit. This variable alone will be paramount in determining the Success of our Platform for the years to come ;)

Well, I'm weird like that I guess. When I first joined back in December and had a BIG whopping 60 SP I said to myself if I ever get some decent SP I was going to take people with me to the top.
And I plan on doing that. Just wait til I am a whale....you ain't seen nothing yet lol
I think it just really disturbed me to see Whales who had stakes of 500K SP and giving upvotes of
$.10 for a high quality Comment or Post they like. Something about that stinginess really
gets to me :(
That's when I made the comittment right then and there that I would not be like that ;)
Just like my Mother did when I was growing up ...I'm gonna give til it hurts LOL
Ditto on this! I guess it's like the real world. The more people have, more often than not the more stingy they are.
