1 million Steem accounts : My journey on Steemit

Hello people
Today I'm going to share with you my journey into the crypto world that started with steemit.
Now most people still don't know about steem or rather cryptocurrencies in general. We probably have all heard about crypto in the past but dismissed it as scam( I know I have). That is the biggest mistake you can ever make. We need to open our minds to new possibilities.
Now then,

What is steemit?

Steemit is a social and blogging platform that runs over the steem blockchain.
I won't go much into the technical stuff as I'm still learning that myself and I find it's better to learn that gradually.

So basically you can earn by posting quality content.
I know it seems too good to be true but trust me it is true.

So what are the things you can do on Steemit.

• You can earn by blogging.
• You can earn by posting photographs.
• There are also various contests going on and you can easily take part in those.
• There's utopian.io for developers
• You can earn by streaming games.
  

There's dlive for music and other videos, dlive for streaming, steepshot for pictures, and many others.
These are a just a few right of my mind, so the opportunities are endless.
And that's not all, you get to know a lot of wonderful people who have inspired me.

Crypto is the way to the future and we need to understand it, otherwise we'd only regret it later. As for people like me can't afford to invest in crypto, Steemit is my way into crypto.

Now let me tell you about my first goal on steemit.
As most of my friends would know, I've always been a passionate gamer.
But most of the new games are graphically very demanding on PC, so I haven't been able to continue playing games for a while.
I've been watching the gaming streams of @acidyo for a while now and I've been inspired to start gaming again.
The gamer inside me which I had kept hidden wants to come out again.
So the first thing I want to do is buy a decent gaming rig and start streaming on Steemit. Maybe someday with @acidyo who's been the key to this inspiration.

There are a lot of people in Kashmir and all over the world who could really benefit from Steemit. I know how good Steemit can be for us Kashmiris with the unemployment rate and all the political tension.

Honestly, steemit is easily the best thing on internet I've invested my time in.
I won't say that my life is already changed, but I'm on the way and I completely believe in the potential that's why I'm giving Steemit most of my time.
The thing it has done for me is, it has allowed me to dream that things can work out the way I had always planned.

So I hope I've done justice to this wonderful platform and influence some of you to join me on this journey.
