How I Discovered Steemit and Introducing Myself

Dear Steemians!

I had the opportunity to read the book “the life-changing magic of tidying up” by Marie Kondo. Next, I immersed myself in my hard drive, and you can figure out what happened next, right? I started to discard much digital matter that I don't longer need. Suddenly, a particular course on how to make money by passive methods caught my attention. I was curious, and my mouse clicked on the first video naturally. That’s how I discovered Steemit a few days ago.

I'm Ritch, a scientist in materials science, a writer, and a stock investor. I’m living in Ensenada, Mexico. My native language is Spanish, and I will write dual posts in English/Spanish.

If you are wondering about Ensenada, it is a beautiful city in northern Mexico with around half a million people, which has peaceful landscapes, sea, more than 200 brewery/wine places, as well as bike and cars competitions. To give you an insight, look at the following picture of Ensenada captured a few minutes ago.

To date, I don't fully understand how Steemit works. However, I believe that it is not necessary to have the whole information for knowing that it is a disruptive idea. Imagine that each of us brings fresh knowledge to our social media, it would help our leaders, scientists, entrepreneurs, and business owners to build a better world.

Hasta la fecha, no entiendo completamente cómo funciona Steemit. Sin embargo, creo que no es necesario tener toda la información para saber que es una idea disruptiva. Imagine que cada uno de nosotros aporta nuevos conocimientos a nuestras redes sociales, esto ayudaría a nuestros líderes, científicos, empresarios y dueños de negocios a construir un mundo mejor.
