Why STEEM can become the World's LARGEST cryptocurrency.
About 4 months ago I predicted that steem will become the world's 2nd largest cryptocurrency on 7/10/2018. I reiterated about 2 months ago and explained why. I also explained why I think it can become the world's largest cryptocurrency:
Any one who has kept up with the news lately knows that we are headed towards a global financial crisis. Many proponents urge that Bitcoin will become the new world currency. To some extent I do agree that it very well could become the global currency but I also feel that Steem could claim this title just as well.
Bitcoin is without a doubt the largest and most established cryptocurrency. There are several others that have been around for a while that established themselves in the markets as well. As with these, Steem will undoubtedly establish itself as a leader in the market place as well. One huge key difference between other cryptocurrencies and Steem is that just about ANYONE can earn some Steem while most other cryptocurrencies have to be mined. At this point in time this is beyond the comprehension of your average citizen. This one factor makes a huge difference as far as to the allocation of cryptocurrency is concerned. Since anyone can earn Steem, there will be a much more broad distribution, which means that Steem could very well realize the largest and strongest foundation.
With the largest foundation Steem could very easily outperform all other cryptocurrencies. It will definitely take time and the Steem market will surely see several ups and downs before it stabalizes, but with the largest and strongest foundation I think it has just as well a chance, if not more of a chance, at becoming the "new world currency" So to all my fellow Steemians - if you think "long term" when it comes to Steem we will be well on our way to success!

Bitcoin is lovely, but the fact is that Steem is earned not by running a mining factory but by producing work that other people like to read or watch. Since the web is essentially entirely things people like to read or watch, it strikes me that as soon as people catch on to the idea that there's a place where their brilliant dissective essay on ACHA can actually pay them money, they're going to come here in droves. I can't see any reason why they wouldn't. What does Bitcoin have to offer over that?

Bitcoin will still be the biggest crypto for now don't see that changing anytime soon.
