A trip to kerry

Hello Steemians it's been a while since I just sat and wrote on Steemit, I'm on my last week of my three weeks leave at home before I ship back out to Syria until October and I have to say the time has gone by very quickly.

It's amazing when you're at home how you take for granted what you actually have until it's gone. Today I spent the day with my mother and brother in kerry just relaxing and enjoying the day. We're so focused on what we want instead of what's at your door step. Constantly everyone wants to go on holiday when in actual fact you can have a holiday experience in your own back yard.

I'm looking forward to coming back home in October and actually blogging once again on Steemit as I know my posts while I've been away I've only really posted the memechallenge and a couple of little bits.

Here's a couple of pictures today of some of the stunning scenery here in ireland and what I'll be missing when I leave again next weekend. I guess the message to you all is enjoy what you have at home and forget what you want because once it's gone you'll miss it a whole lot. I know I do when I'm away with the army.
