I don't normally do these milestone posts, but today feels like such a monumental day. The equality hard fork and my personal milestone all at once. My goals here are actually being realized.

Advice for new Steemians

Keep working. Keep posting and trying to bring value. If you're like me, you didn't start with a following from youtube or any form of professional content creating in the past. It takes time to build a following and build a blog of content over time. Building relationships is another important key, but that happens fairly naturally here as there are many good projects to get involved in.

From looking at the success people had just by being consistent, I tried to post as often as I could come up with something I thought was valuable. I've never got in the habit of posting everyday, but steadily posting over the last ten months has begun to pay off much quicker than I expected.

A few months ago, I was telling people to keep posting even though it was hard to earn very many dollars. I was happy to earn any full STEEMs that I could. I believe full STEEMs will get harder and harder to earn in the future as the price continues to go up. People will still be able to make money just fine, but now is still the time to be earning as much STEEM as possible.

Let if flow

I have learned to let it flow. A few weeks ago, I got up in the middle of the night because I couldn't sleep and made a 5 minute video about what I was thinking about. It made $100! I couldn't believe that! Recently posts are making even more. My focus is till on the STEEM.

My goal for this year has been to reach 10,000 STEEM and I feel if I can do that, I will put myself in a great position to hodl for the next few years.

The Future of Steemit

I can't even imagine what the future holds for Steemit. Steem still has so much room to grow its market cap. I expect cryptocurrency will continue to have explosive growth, especially if it really is reaching the tipping point as it seems.

Social media is now such a huge market. Comparing Steemit to the crazy value of facebook and cryptos to the forex markets and looking at the pace that has been set this first year, I think Steemit and Steem's value will continue to climb for years to come!

Eventually there will be communities and user issued tokens, so there is no telling what will be created here as we continue to grow.
