Will I Become A Bitcoin Millionaire?
I just started a bitcoin wallet and I thought I might put a hundred dollars worth of btc in there from my trading. I had no idea sbd and btc would be climbing to heights that cause nosebleeds. I'm ready for the fall though, not banking on these rates lasting forever. I'm thinking about buying some silver with my btc, get some hard assets stored away. I have a little silver stored away for a rainy day, now I can add a little bit from my profits in trading.
My husband is into bitcoin and is in heaven right now, hopefully he won't fall and hurt himself. Seriously, can you believe these prices? I'm doing pretty good with Steemit, but I don't count on it to stay stable or even to be able to powerdown any time soon.
I felt left out, I don't have any bitcoin and I've read by 2025, 10 bitcoin could be worth a million usd! Then I read one bitcoin could be worth a million usd within 10 to fifteen years. So little by little I've invested my little bit of sbd into btc. I've made a little profit too!
I started trading sbd for btc, because btc seems like best stable cryptocurrency out there. Even though stable and cryptocurrency don't go together. I invest a couple times a month no matter where the prices are because I read that spreading out ones investment will even out any loses I might take during the dips.

I'm no expert, but unless Bitcoin does a hard fork to address its slowness and inability to keep up with the transaction speeds I foresee something replacing it. I am suspecting that may end up being Ethereum though it too has problems, they just are further down the road. It's at least 10 times as fast as bitcoin. There are other alternative such as our own STEEM that are faster by a large margin than both of them. A lot of it at this point is marketing. I am hoping EOS might shake some things up when it comes out.
Im hoping segWit and BU will help with the scalability issue, but these patches just kick the can down the road. I'm just a witness in a way, not a big time investor, hopefully any profits I make can be turned into hard assets. The political infighting isn't helping. That's why I'm buying silver😜
Well the smaller shitcoins/cryptos you can get A LOT of for a low price. Those things can sometimes do a rapid increase before they collapse. It seems like that is where there is potential to make a lot of money if a person really wanted to. I have no interest in adding another JOB to my life though so while I messed with it for a little while I quickly realized that my time was worth something to me and I didn't want just another job added to my day. :)

You sound a lot more like a programmer/economist than an artist.

It is all pretty wild, what I understand of it, which isn't much. But fun to be along for the ride, no matter how small a tadpole I be.
I don't think by any stretch of imagination I'll be a millionaire from my cryptocurrency investments...but I think my husband just might. He won't share his bitcoin keys....hahaha😏😂

@gardenlady, I had some butterflies in my stomach getting everything ready for trading. I had a lot of fun researching, setting up my wallet, exchanges, and debit card. Not that complicated!

That's a good idea, investing in Bitcoin, although I gotta say that the prices currently are, indeed, breathtaking.

@leconnaisseur Steemit and bitcoin have risen together, which I find delightful. I'll keep an eye out for you, if you like farming bees and milk cows, that's where I'll be cashing out my btc...lolol come and help me milk my cows and I'll feed you homemade yogurt and honey.
