Where To Start?

It's been about 3 years since I last used steemit. I am interested in getting started up with steemit again. I don't remember much of anything really. Can anyone recommend some good posts/articles/sites etc. to read and go through to get me up to speed on how to use the platform to its maximum potential and get the most of it? Also how does everything work here on steemit?

I know there is tons of information out there doing searches, was just hoping to save myself some time and bypass any info that is going to be irrelevant and not worth it.
