But its a fact ..but mostly does not understand it...by buying upvotes from bots/whales....only benefiting them ...But on the other hand if you calculate overall.... You will almost be in loss...its my experience of 6 months at steemit....its a long story that how it is????...However, newbies can never understand it at begining .... secondly your focus is on bots and your social relationing becomes lessor and lessor that leads less exposure to other community members and lessor upvotes and at last you will be Finished....So...Believe in yourself...understand the Steemit Platform as it is a social platform and how come BOTS become part of it as they have NO EMOTIONS so no Affiliation....JUST Remember you can do it So DO IT...
