RE: How can I properly embed a Tweet on Steemit?
You can straight away copy the html code that pop up when you click embed tweet and pasted it. But for some reason em dash doesn't not convert to —.
Simplest logic in the world yet people still don't get it. Right wing is not the answer. Around and around it goes. pic.twitter.com/8NqEbnpbIy

Thanks for replying. The em dash problem is something I could live with, the fact that a proper looking Tweet does not appear like on a normal page is what I want to fix. I want to be able to post a tweet and have people be able to click on the reply, retweet, or like buttons that are supposed to show up right below the Tweet. Thanks
I doubt you can embed javascripts in markdown. Javascript need inorder to get those functionality.
Ok that is a good point. I thank you so much for taking the time to try and help me on this. I am confident Steem will eventually fix the problem and we will be able to add Tweets like on other social media platforms.
