So here we are.. You came on Steemit thinking you'll make tons of money with no effort, only to realize this too is a job. Tsk tsk tsk..
DONUT WORRY, I'M HERE TO SAVE YOUR DAY!
But how, you might ask, how will I do such biblical miracles of turning you from a little fish into fine wine that every steemian wants a sip of?
Well, well, well, I'm glad you asked!
First of all I'm not going to insult your intelligence. I'm not going to talk about how stupid people can make money here as well, but it's obviously better to be smart like me cough cough.. I'm just going to tell you a secret..
It's not my secret, I just took it out of my grand-grandpa's secret Steemit recipes book and I will share it with you!

Who says otherwise is selling you a steeming pile of shit!
There's just common sense!
- Stop that follow for follow crap first of all. If you have 500 followers but no one is reading your shit who gives a fuck about your 500 followers? Plus, people just ignore or flag it when they see it.
- Do it your way, be the fucking unique snowflake that you always wanted to be!
- Don't chase the money, do it for fun. If you're not having fun even if no one is reading your crap then you're doing it wrong.
- Make friends not because you want something in return, but because you like the person and their work and you want to be part of it and help him/her(/it?!?) grow if you can.
- Respect the tags. Big tags are like movie credits, they go by so fast that it's so easy for your post to be missed. Use them knowing that you have a small chance of getting noticed.
- Understand the hours of your followers. If you post when the core of your followers is sleeping, you'll probably not get read.
That will do it for this episode of the Rant Reel. I hope you're not falling trap to all those click bait articles that promise you the sun and the moon and only insult your intelligence and waste your time.
