Social media … our virtual psychologist ?

in #steemit8 years ago

It is known that nowadays social media plays a very important role in our lives and as a result, takes most of our time.   The main elements that form this complex system can have numerous effects on our personalities, including the role of a therapist.

A lot of people now use certain social media communities/platforms (Facebook, Tweeter, Google Plus, Yahoo Messanger, Steemit) to vent, which is not necessarily a bad or condemnable thing.

No matter how hard we try to view these things as an escape, there are certain aspects that our human nature is not quite ready to give up on, like a phone call to a dear one, a hug, a coffee with a friend or any other type of direct interaction that usually enriches our life and makes it better.

Today, we are on an ascending path to integrating our personality, our thoughts, our feelings and our problems into the social media, hoping to find a solution or at least relief.

As I already mentioned in my Introduce yourself, we are here to do our best, to be our best versions and make our lives better, through a bigger or a smaller contribution that we can make in our own life, the life of others or our work domain.    We’ll see what comes as I am convinced that we are all anxious to see the long-term effects of this merge between us as human beings and today’s technology, which takes over our lives more and more.

It is better to go to nature than to sit at a computer

Many works at the computer, so is good to keep a balance!
