Getting Lei'd in Hawaii ;)
Hawaiian Crown Lei
Lei making is very special in Hawaii. We make many types of lei for many occasions such as greetings, performances, birthdays, graduations, weddings, retirements, or just for fun.
My favorite type is Lei Po'o . This type of lei is worn as a crown.
Today, I went ahead and made one for fun :)
It rained a bit while I collected plant material. Despite it being wet and muddy, the rain drops made the plants look AMAZING!!
Boots, Bangles, and a Lei Po'o - That's all this girl needs ;)

Finished Product: Cordyline leaves, Orchid flowers, and Ferns.

I have a friend that lives in Hawaii finally so Ive been planning a visit! What time of year is the best time to be there?!
Spring and summer is the best time to visit. Fair warning though, Hawaii is an expensive Paradise.
