Four months on Steemit, reached 300 followers - leasons learned?
So, I hit kind of a first milestone recently. It makes me a what, a Steemit cadet? ;)
I understand nowadays more about this platform. Firstly, it fulfills people need of consuming high-quality content. Secondly, it works like mining, but done slowly by human minds through creativity.

This is more or less what I'm thinking about at the moment in regard to becoming better at steeming (is there such word?) :)
- Be consistent about your content. Being "Jack of all trades, master of none" doesn't make much sense here. People want to observe you because of one particular topic (there are sometimes exceptions from this). Photography together with travelling is ok, but adding crypto to it looks strange though.
Making money through travelling and writing about it on Steemit looks like a dream life to me, but it requires lof of talent (including photographic talent), and maybe networking on the start. It's not as easy as I thought.
If have more than one hobby, setup a separate steemit account for this. This is kind of a grey zone, as we (the Steemit users) should theoretically have only one account per person.
Invest some of your money to power up yourself with a steem power. It helps a lot - your voting will pay others a noticeable amount of money - it may be just one cent ($0.01), yet it makes the upvote action visible.
Always put a picture. Like on eBay, people like to "buy with their eyes". Also no picture means no thumbnail.
Integrate and find friends. Speaking with same person isn't just pleasant, it's also profitable and helps you to build audience.
Last but not least - please have passion about what you're doing and don't stop :)
What do you think?
Greets!
