Welcome to the fifth tutorial in my SEO tutorial series. In the past tutorial, we discussed how you can generate your content ideas for Steemit and how you can check demand of those topics with the help of Google's data.

Today, we'll go even more advanced. In my last tutorial, I mentioned that there are some free methods and paid methods. It is recommended for beginners to try least-cost methods to find out what's working for them. SEO field demands investment especially if you want to achieve success in short period of time.

We are going to discuss one of the best SEO tool "ScrapeBox" which can make your life much easier! All in one tool and affordable. Please note that my purpose is just to explain every possible method which could bring you success. I am not endorsing anything to you and whatever you do, you're doing at your own discretion.

What is ScrapeBox?

Scrapebox is a very powerful SEO tool which offers a wide-range of features you'd ever need, and if I call it "A Must Have" tool, then it won't be an exaggeration. With the help of ScrapeBox, you can find as many keywords of your choice as you want, convert your list of small keywords into a massive one. There are dozens of other features. In the field of SEO, expired domains play a vital role and with the help of ScrapeBox, you can even get expired domains. But we'll stick to On-Page SEO for now because expired domains are not our topic.

In short, ScrapeBox has more than 30 addons which are useful for your SEO work. Millions of SEO optimizers use Scrapebox but most of them use this tool for black-hat SEO, resulting in an ultimate loss. Today, you'll learn how to turn a single keyword into thousands. I am going to turn a keyword "Car" into thousands in front of your eyes, then with the help of demand finding technique, we'll find the exact search volume of each keyword.

When you'll open the Scrapebox, this screen will show up, then you need to click on Scrape > Keyword Scraper. See below:

Now, I am going to type a keyword "Car" in left field:

So here is the trick. I'd now click on "Append A-Z" and I will get 27 variations of my keyword:

This trick should give you an edge alone but there is more. Now I am increasing the level from 1 to 3 and hit the Scrape button then I'll let the process run for around 3 minutes.

Do you know what it does? It will scrape keywords first from level 1, then all the keywords which were found in level 1 will be again added to the finder, then more variations of those keywords will be searched, and it will continue happening 3 times. It will get you 3x more keywords!

So, 3 minutes completed. Here is the result:

That's right. We have turned 1 keyword into 1385 keywords within 3 minutes! and it could be 10,000 if I would let it run for at least an hour or two depending on the level you choose.

Now, we're going to find search volume for the keywords using KeywordsEverywhere extension (technique explained in previous tutorial). I have done it myself and here are the results:

Amazing results! We discovered 500+ useful suggestions. The next step will be to find out the exact competition and difficulty level. Don't worry! We'll get to it.

Turn Your Small Keyword Into Great Ideas:

So, with the help of this technique, you can generate 1,000s of content ideas just with a small 1 word specific keyword and long tail keywords will come in front of your eyes! I've seen people struggling on Steemit and they just don't know what to write about!

I get messages on Steemit chat from many people. Most of them spam me with their links while some ask questions regarding content ideas. Even if you have the content idea, when you'll use this technique, it will take you to the whole new picture which can be great for your Steemit content!

But make sure to choose long tail keywords!

What are Long Tail Keywords?

Long tail keywords are 4-5 words long. Generally, you can't just use 2 words phrase as your keyword and beat your competitors. It takes a lot of work to out-rank others and man, if you are choosing 1-2 words phrase then you'll be competing with world-class sites. You can never beat them unless you have millions of dollars to invest!

So, consider using only long tail keywords. They should be at-least 3-4 words long. The longer the keyword, the greater your chance of outranking your competitors. Furthermore, long-tail keywords are not well optimized by optimizers, so it will give you an edge over others, enabling you to rank above them!

Conclusion:

The best keywords are those, which are 4-5 words long and have decent search volume. Within our keyword research, we found 1385+ car related ideas and 500+ of them have decent search volume. This is one of the tricks to speed up your ranking process. If you don't believe, then test 2 words keyword within your content and see where you rank, then use a long tail keyword to find out which one does better!
