  3. This is probably open for debate, and you will probably get a variety of answers on this question. Personally I like it, although I did spend $6 promoting my last post, and only made $0.06 on the post itself... so I definitely lost money and will probably skip any future post promotion of my own unless I think my article is amazing.

The money that goes into @null will be taken out of circulation according to what I understand. Just adding to driv3n's answer.

Doesn't it seem a bit dangerous to have a massive pool of money taken out of the economy by simply locking it away on a normal steem address?

I believe it gets removed periodically and "burned" but we'll have to see what changes are made in the future.
