Good one your suspicion @freebornsociety. I hope that was the case and 'they', actually would finally allow us to see what Steemit is like organically!!

But on the other hand, I also think that we would become too optimistic in believing that those who have the power to do it, were realy interested in giving us the opportunity to check and test as a community of True Living Human Beings, how all this thang should & must work!! }:)
