There are plenty of reports about what actually happened. AND the short story is, the CODE on Witness Servers and RPC nodes behaved EXACTLY as they were meant to: in the event of a conflict of BLOCK signatures, SHUTDOWN.
Yep mate. I know and I have no problem if you drop a link or two of one of those plenty of reports out there which really inform and educate steemians about what happened today fully.
