I myself, like that kind of talk very much, because it gives me new points of view, media doesn´t provide. If these are shut down, like assumed in the video, there will be a huge gap to fill for steemit (or any other third party app based on the blockchain). PFW has 850k followers. PewDiePie has 54 million followers. If these guys among the others mentioned in the video are cut off from the advertising pool of youtube, they will have to find new ways of monetarising their content.

Aren´t there any devs out there being able to create a working addon to steemit and provide video hosting to channel all those viewers and followers to steemit?

The Steem blockchain cannot host videos, that's unfeasible. It could however include an IPFS link to the video, and a hash for verification/proof of existence (I think a hash may already be included in IPFS links) in case of attempts to tamper with it.
Yep. Probably one could use a crypto cloud to upload videos and link it here (thanks @twinner for that point).
Also it is not "censored" on youtube by deleting, only hidden due to age restriction. Here we need a way around. We could offer an open door.
I guess even Cliff High would be happy to join. I saw his latest video yesterday and it seems that you tube censors him and his ads. Very good idea.
Yeah, I think the "idea" is not new, but there is a certain urge.
We need to find out what we need, who could and will do it.
To get this into real discussion we also need to brainstorm how to monetarize and how to finance it (and of course how much has to be invested in the first place).
I have no clue about all this stuff, probably there is some planning and even programming ongoing at the moment. Still community could help I guess (with ideas AND with money, if there were a realistic plan or crowdfunding organized)

But, videos and blockchain won't be easy. Opposite to YouTube, steemit is still a small, but expanding platform.

That is the point. There is a gap to be filled and a looooooot of followers aka readers to be won for steemit.

As much as I respect your urge to express your purist anti-statist point of view, I must also say, that your point has nothing to do with my suggestion. The question is, if you want to have a community that fully understands voluntary principles with all consequences (which can only be achieved by SELF-movement and SELF-understanding, not by forcing it upon others) or if you want to have a platform where you can freely express your thoughts.
An "only voluntary community" would be a very, very tiny one (especially if everybody not understanding/proclaiming the "right" thoughts is called a clown/idiot by those who think having understood the world).
