I recently read an article about how translation and interpreting is one of the top 7 fastest growing industries to invest in. This totally makes sense if you think about it:
1. Globalisation is not going to all of a sudden stop, instead if anything it will accelerate as organisations and countries start to want to work together as a solution to problems.
2. Machine translating is not able to translate meaning effectively in most cases.
3. Technology enables translation agencies to work across countries and time zones to find the perfect translator for specific texts, based on availability of course.
