Tips For Getting Upvotes
If you are new to Steemit and wondering, 'what is the easiest way to get upvotes?', then you are in the right place to learn the easy tricks of getting upvotes on your post. These are the methods I use to help me grow faster on steemit. Feel free to share your steemit ways with a reply to this post. Now lets get into it.
Minnow Support
This way is one of the best ways to start when you start out to get upvotes. @minnowsupport has a big community backed behind it for newbies on the steemit platform. If you join there discord and follow the setup prompts then you are able to post on the upvote and a bot will upvote your post. You are able to get upvoted every 24 hours, I get around 30 - 40 upvotes with this method. https://discord.gg/G4CGs4r
Shadowbot
@Shadowbot is a new tool which automatically upvotes other peoples posts and it will use other people’s voting power to upvote your posts. You can make a small amount of SBD and STEEM while you are away, this is one of my favourite things about Shadowbot.
Steemit.chat
Steemit.chat is a more private extension to steemit. It allows you to join hundreds of channels that have tropics based on just about anything. Post you links into there and ask other people for an ‘upvote 4 upvote’ if you have too, don’t just spam people your links they get really pissed off at that.
Social Media
Social Media is a great way to reach a wider audience all over the internet on sites like Reddit, Twitter or Facebook. You can promote your posts in subreddits such as r/steemit, or write a short post on Twitter or Facebook you'll just need to add the right hashtags and you might have yourself a viral post.
Format
When making a post you have to pay attention to how your post in presented. If it is a massive block of text, most likely no one is going to read it. It has to be aesthetic to the human eye. You should be writing your text in paragraphs with a space in between, maybe through in a few images and markdown text as well. Side note: make sure there are no spelling mistakes in your writing.
