What about a dark theme for steemit?
A dark theme is elegant and don't hurt my eyes (for a site that you're always reading things this is so great). I also think it makes sites prettier.

I just changed my edge browser to the dark theme.
I agree it can be pretty bright at night but I've had good luck with flux cutting down the strain on my eyes.
