I share your feeling. I think steemit is on a tipping point and I hope it balances to a successful social media platform and crypto currency.

Only time will tell. But there are a lot of dedicated steemians and a lot of projects are in development like dtube, esteem, steepshot, ... so steemit has some potential to make it against all negative forces like bots and the frustrations about whales and abusers.
