You Are Your Own Inspiration

My old man would always tell me: "Being successful is a function of your state of mind." I thought this had no serious meaning while I was younger, but reality hit me faster than the speed of light.

Success can never be around someone who is negatively minded; rather, it attaches itself with people who believe they will make it no matter what. These are people with dreams and determination!

How can you be successful at what you already said you wouldn't do right? You are the best inspiration you will ever have and if you fail to inspire yourself, nothing else will inspire you!

Remember that you are the captain of your life's ship; bear it in mind that there will be storms and it may not always be a smooth sail. Only you will determine whether you get to the the harbour of victory or not.

Many may tell you that you'll fail. Trust me, at some point, the most successful people today wanted to stop but they didn't - if you want to be tagged successful, do not pull the plug on whatever you're doing. It may look impossible now, it'll all make sense later.

Remember, you are your own inspiration. Be a doer!
