Is Steemit.inc capitulating?

@therealwolf

Two weeks ago I read this post by @therealwolf: https://steemit.com/steem/@therealwolf/open-letter-to-ned. Now, I am not a programmer, I am not a witness, but I am a stakeholder in Steem. A small one, but still. And by that, I am concerned about the future of Steem and subsequently Steemit.Inc is involved too.

Now this open letter by @therealwolf was in my opinion a genuine and quite reasonable list of questions to @ned. Especially with the silence of @ned in the last month. Now, after 2 weeks, @ned still has not responded or posted anything although he cancelled the livestream of December 6th.

@therealwolf has his guesses about why @ned is not responding. But after looking at @ned his profile her on Steem, I see he has responded to two posts with the most remarkable attempt of wittyness. Yesterday, he just posted this "I'm here :P" on a post about developper issues. Really? That's it?
That is just incredible, if any CEO of any company would communicate like that with his customers, the company would just fire him or go bankrupt. Really!

Selling his stake?

In my opinion, I think Ned is in the middle of some really big financial issues. Are his financers putting him under pressure to sell Steemit.Inc? Is he trying to sell it? Or is he just the worst communicater ever? I have no idea, I actually hope it is explained soon, because, this way, well, it wont take long before the ship of Steemit.Inc really sinks. And I really hope Steem can survive and thrive if that happens...

Your opinions? Just share them in the comments...

Sincerely,

Agree totally with you.

btw. also noticed he's powering down

I saw it too, he already has 1,5 million liquid Steem in his account, so the powerdown really does not make a big difference, but it could be a sign...

Luckily Steem is not all about Steemit as there are enough apps working pretty fine while other might be under construction, but if Steemit sinks there is going definitely be a big impact on the tokens price. Not that is doing very good right now, comparing it with others, but such a news would impact it a lot in my opinion. However I hope Ned will not abandon the project. In my opinion Steemit and Steem still have a lot of potential and are one of a kind.

Good work.
