For those that dont know, @Jerrybanfield is a whale on steemit who does mostly Dtube video. And i have been wondering what is the ideal number of posts to make a day, a week, or even a month on steemit, until i came across his video called "28 Day Bootcamp - 4". In the video, he spoke extensively on the ideal number of times to post a day from his one year expirence on steemit.

Before he started, he gave an anology for runing a race. Assuming you walk up to a track and you know you need to run around the track, but the number of times you need to run around the track determines the speed you start with. If you know you need to run around the track just one time, you can actually speed up since you know you can afford to be exhausted after going once. If you need to four times, yoy might wanna start with a slower pace so you can make it around the four laps without burning out. If you need to get around the track 200 times, you don't wanna just start sprinting, might even wanna just walk around the 200 times so you can confortably walk around the tract 200 times at a nice steady pace.

Coming back to steemit, he noted that the above is a very nice consideration, in terms of how often to post. As against posting once a week, three times a day, once a day is the ideal posting strategy. You want to have something available as often as possible but the probem is, if we do more than a post a day, it gets to be too much, it starts turning into a sprint, where all of a sudden a day comes along and you can't keep up. I used to do, 3 post a day and it was great for my income because i made atleast 100$ on each post but the problem with doing 3 post a day just like sprinting around the track is that you can burn out.

Often we end up paying less attention to the quality of each individual post which makes way for posts that screw things up and can often cause us our readers, that can cause us a significant amount of our income. When we are posting too often, we risk burning out and when we don't post often enough we risk loosing our attention. One post a day i think is ideal for a long term marathon strategy on steemit. So if you want a chance of doing steemit full time as a hobby, i think its ideal to do one post everyday.

He confessed that when he started doing one post a day, he was getting as much as a thousand dollars on a post because all his energy on his post was focused on that one post a day. And the problem is, when things go well, we are tempted to do more. When i was getting a ton of money on my post last month, i started testing 3 post a day and my income dropped significantly because reading 3 posts a day form a particular blogger as a reader is way too much. When i make one post a day, it gives me more chance of reading other peoples post and engaging with my audience.

So guys there you go. I think this makes a lot of sense especially when you complement it with the analogy above. When you stick with one post a day, you have more time and resources to make another quality post tomorrow. Some times i have to much time on my hand and i am tempted to make another post the same day. But after listening to this video, i have concluded that even when i have enough time to come up with 2 post a day, i won't actually upload the second post till the next. Thank for reading and i will like to know what you think about this.

I been experimenting with how many post to put out and different giveaways to see what gets the most attention and I agree that one post a day is plenty. Too many post and those who follow you start to skip over your content. Mixing a day or two with a second post seems to be ok also.

Oh waow. One day is even too much?? Nice input. But @rentmoney, i dont think anyone would skip your posts. You offers are just too juicy.😁
