The Sad Truth About Steemit #4
Let's get rid of the 1 percent! Steemit Will Change The World!
Well, let's have a look at these figures first:
https://steemit.com/statistics/@arcange/steemit-statistics-20180919-en
If we throw these data in a table we get this picture:
If we throw out the 1 Million inactive accounts, we get this picture:
What does this mean?
- 0.03% of the active users have 60% of ALL the voting power on Steemit
- 0.3% of the active users have 80% of ALL the voting power on Steemit
- less than 2% of the active users have over 90% of ALL the voting power on Steemit
- 98% of the active users have less than 8% of ALL the voting power on Steemit
This Platform Is A Joke, Folks.
But, but, but, did Dan Larimer not tell us that Steemit was gonna make poor Africans rich?
Seriously?
They Can Fool You But They Can't Fool Me*

Oh, thanks for the wonderful news about my investment of 1200 dollars. So nice to see that I invested in a pyramid scheme that involves none real IP/SP muggers. Ya, just me and my bad attitude. Wow, normally I am a happy go lucky type artist trying to make a living and existing as a nomad. These days stuck, ripped shoulder, no RV, trying to sell my wares, busking when I can. I need to get back down south before it gets cold. Yup, bad attitude! That is the way it goes it seems. I should just eat up bernies yum yum, right. Jerry's propaganda, right. Meno's dumb ass feel good junk, right. Wow, dtube does not play my stuff. Dlive left. I hate bots. I will not pay for promotions. I will not last on here. Sorry for being so real. I should change my attitude. Where is that acid.
If you bought in the first week of April, you're safe, but if you bought Steem in the last week, you probably will be in a loss.
If the red-line pattern in the post below is consistent, Steem will top in 4 weeks or so at around 30K Satoshi. That's where I am taking my profit.

Very revealing post. Does this reflect what happens in a capitalist world? Would people asking for a better distribution of SP be called socialists?
I was surprised too by these numbers in front of me. Voting power should have to be linked to your reputation. And your reputation should be the result of what number of users like your ideas and content. This would mean that multiple accounts should be forbidden. Flagging power should be a one user/one vote thing. Upvoting should also have to be a one user/one vote thing.
Not as it is now where a guy with multiple accounts like @berniesanders with a combined voting power a billion times stronger than a small fish can rig this platform anyway they like together with their helpie-selfie friends.
The algorythms by which Steemit works at the moment are literally screaming for abuse.
If the techies don't step out of their bubble and start "humanizing" Steemit, it is doomed.
Steemit can make rich only those peoples who are already rich . Lolz
