Is there a Way to Upload Documents to the Steemit Blockchain ?

PDF or Text files etc - Can they be stored or 'archived' on Steemit in case you want to preserve documents before they are deleted on the World Wide Inter Webs?

If it's a text file you can just push it as posts, if it's something a tad more complex like a pdf yeah a solution like memobox could work. Although I wrote that tool a long time ago and now I know that it's more optimized to directly use a custom_json operation rather than a post operation

yes yues custom Jasons' my cousin is named jason, How can I use this JAY SON to addd a PDF to blockchaina nd get a nice PDF link out of it? No way yet? I dont want to start using that very often and only someone with a lot of SP can afford that bandwitdh to start hosting images on the chain right? We only get a few KB of data to mess with really right?

thnx for pointing this out - I am brainstorming on a new blockchain design that could act as an archive, in the past you could find lots of stuff on the internet but it has gotten more and more difficult by the commercialisation and state control algorithms of the search engines. Once I got my mind wrapped around the basic and fundamental concepts of such a thing, I think I am gonna create a dev team and a coin for it, but not sure what blockchain platform to choose. Some people here have pointed me to Cardano, because it is toptech, but we all know the story of Betamax vs VHS and all these other good standards that lost against the popular ones.

I had same problem uploading pics. Its quite hard using urls. checkout my post on how i did it much easily. mine though was issues with uploading my profile pic
